Sepp Blatter Threatens To Kick Spain Out Of Euro 2008 Over Election Row

FIFA president Sepp Blatter has confirmed Spain could be banned from international competition if their government tries to intervene in the election process of the Spanish FA. 


As the 3rd place team Northern Ireland would automatically replace Spain if the ban takes place
 

OLD NEWS:

The qualifying campaign is now over for Euro 2008 and sadly Northern Ireland narrowly missed out on going to the Championships, but they did our wee country proud.  They were placed in Group F along with Iceland, Liechtenstein, Latvia, Spain, Denmark and Sweden. Here's how it looked in the end:
